i saw this mailbox when it was first transformed, but forgot about it.. then one night ducky and i drove by it and he almost drove off the road because he was so excited. we parked and luckily i had my tripod with me.. and of course i had my camera because i never leave home without it.. i got a couple pictures of him with the r2 mailbox (that exists thanks to to US postal service taking part in celebrating star wars 30th anniversary).. and got this one, which im quite happy with. looks like x-wing fighters wooshing by!... or.. not. but i can pretend.

yeah, apparently theres quite a few dispersed throughout the country, which i think is fantastic. ive only seen this one so far in san diego.. but perhaps ill hunt out more.. i know i could go to th us postal services website and check locations... but i see no fun in that at all :P

thank you so much! i was hoping the shot would come out at least decent. after seeing it i felt it did and then some, which rocks because now i can share it with my fellow geeks wholl hopefully appreciate this fine apparatus as much as i do!
