during the month of october, there is an event in beautiful balboa park here in san diego by the name of "the haunted trail". its basically a haunted house.. but on a much larger scale, outside, with no safety nets like walls, or rooms.. no no.. at the haunted trail, you are out in a woodsy park in the pitch dark, not only wondering if youre being watched, hunted and/or followed... you KNOW youre being watch, hunted and/or followed. the actors have free range of their actions and can do whatever they please, in of course, the limits of safety. scary?... yes.. yes it is.

ducky, my boyfriend used to work the haunted trail (which was named 'the trail of terror' pre-9/11) when he lived in san diego.. now that hes moved back, they welcomed him back with open arms. this picture was taken in the costume and makeup trailer before the trail opened up to the public the other night.. its quite a sight. here you see ducky in the middle of primping his evil clown self (with his bloodshot eyes from exhaustion.. NO he isnt stoned. ew), with one of the micheal myers getting ready aswell... and one of the actors, a very sweet punk guy who wears a courtney love-esque dress' bra that one of the girls brought for him. hes very dedicated to his character. as they all are. i have a lot of other pitures from the haunted trail (in their official photographer.. poor things).. some decent night shots.. ill share them when i get the chance. for now... enjoy!
