hello deviantart, this is your captain speaking.. but you can call me annie if youd prefer. i just wanted to let you know im still alive. im doing so by submitting a new deviant id that was total trash until i gave myself a soulpatch. i now feel cool enough, and worthy. right.

ive taken so many pictures in the past year... and have shared none here.. some on flickr, but not even the rightful amount there. it would seem i have no drive to do so, as ive got a lot on my plate and not a single serving has anything to do with photography, or sharing it, rather. i would like this to change. i miss delving into the world of photography with my small, exclusive circle of photographer friends. looking the stuff i dont know about photography-wise dead in the eye and challenging said things to a duel. and me winning. perhaps i need words of wisdom? probably not, but id like some anyways... id like to hear from a lot of you... so... ready? set? go!

oh, and dont you dare knock my freckles either. i take great pride in them, especially since im so pale (dont tell me to get a tan, waste of time, im scottish, debatably goth depending on who you ask [if you ask me though, ill tell you im not.. cause.. im not], and not allowed to be in the sun for any long amounts of time) the greatest person ive ever known, my grandfather, once told me, 'captain, a face without freckles is like a night without stars!'.. which makes me love them even more.
